PlaceWell is operated by BeNiralu LLC ("PlaceWell," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose personal information when you visit our online store, purchase our products, contact us, or otherwise interact with our store and related services (the "Services").

Our online store is hosted by Shopify. Shopify provides the ecommerce platform that allows us to offer and sell our products. Shopify and other service providers may process personal information as described below.

This Privacy Policy applies to the PlaceWell online store. If a separate PlaceWell application or service later collects personal information beyond what is described here, we will update this policy or provide an additional privacy notice before that processing begins.

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

"Personal information" means information that identifies you or can reasonably be linked to you. The information we collect depends on how you interact with the Services and may include:

Contact and order information. Your name, email address, billing address, shipping address, and telephone number if you choose or are required to provide one for an order or delivery.

Transaction information. Products you view, place in your cart, purchase, return, exchange, or cancel, together with order history, transaction details, and payment confirmation.

Payment information. Payments are processed by Shopify and its payment providers. Those providers may collect payment card or other financial information needed to complete a transaction. PlaceWell generally receives transaction confirmation and limited payment details rather than your complete payment card number.

Communications. Information you provide when you contact us, submit a support request, or otherwise communicate with us.

Device and usage information. Information about your browser, device, network connection, IP address, and how you interact with the Services. This information may be collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies.

Marketing preferences. Your email address and communication preferences if you choose to subscribe to PlaceWell marketing emails.

PlaceWell does not currently offer customer accounts, user profiles, paid subscriptions, recurring billing, wishlists, or social-login features through its online store. We therefore do not collect usernames, account passwords, security questions, or subscription-account information for those purposes.

HOW WE COLLECT PERSONAL INFORMATION

We may collect personal information:

Directly from you, such as when you place an order, contact us, request support, or subscribe to marketing emails.

Automatically, such as when you visit or use the Services and information is collected through cookies and similar technologies.

From service providers, including Shopify, payment processors, shipping carriers, analytics providers, and other companies that help us operate the Services.

HOW WE USE PERSONAL INFORMATION

We use personal information only as reasonably necessary to operate our store and provide our products and Services. This includes:

Processing payments and completing transactions.

Fulfilling, shipping, returning, exchanging, or canceling orders.

Sending transactional messages, such as order confirmations, shipping updates, and service notices.

Responding to questions, support requests, and other communications.

Operating, maintaining, and improving the performance and usability of our store.

Protecting the Services, our customers, and our business; detecting and preventing fraud, abuse, security incidents, and unlawful activity.

Complying with applicable laws, valid legal requests, accounting requirements, and our contractual obligations.

Sending marketing emails when you have chosen to receive them. You may unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe link in an email. Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent us from sending non-promotional messages about an order or customer-service request.

PlaceWell does not use personal information to manage customer accounts or paid subscriptions because we do not currently offer those features.

HOW WE DISCLOSE PERSONAL INFORMATION

We may disclose personal information when reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including:

Shopify. Shopify hosts and operates our ecommerce platform and processes information about your access to and use of the Services.

Payment providers. Payment processors handle payment information and help complete transactions.

Shipping and fulfillment providers. Carriers and fulfillment providers receive the information needed to prepare, ship, track, and deliver orders.

Operational service providers. Companies that provide website hosting, security, analytics, cloud storage, email delivery, customer support, and other services on our behalf.

Legal and safety purposes. We may disclose information to comply with applicable law, a court order, subpoena, search warrant, or other valid legal process; enforce our terms and policies; investigate fraud or unlawful activity; or protect the rights, property, and safety of PlaceWell, our customers, or others.

Business transactions. Information may be disclosed in connection with a proposed or completed merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of our business, subject to applicable law.

At your direction or with your consent. We may disclose information when you ask us to do so or otherwise consent to the disclosure.

We do not receive payment in exchange for selling personal information. Some privacy laws define "sale," "sharing," or "targeted advertising" broadly enough to include certain analytics, advertising, or cross-site data-processing activities. Shopify may process information for its own services or enhanced platform features depending on Shopify's systems, your location, and the store's settings. RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY

The Services are hosted by Shopify. Information you submit through the Services is transmitted to Shopify and may be processed by Shopify and its service providers to operate, secure, and improve the Shopify platform and the Services.

Shopify may process information in countries other than the country where you live. In some circumstances, Shopify acts as our service provider, and in other circumstances Shopify is responsible for its own processing of personal information.

COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES

Shopify and our service providers may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the store, remember cart activity, maintain security, understand site performance and usage, and provide functionality requested by visitors.

Your browser may allow you to block or delete cookies. Blocking certain cookies may prevent parts of the store, cart, or checkout from working correctly. Where required by applicable law, we will request consent before using non-essential cookies.

THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES

The Services may contain links to websites or services operated by third parties. Their privacy, security, and other practices are governed by their own policies. PlaceWell is not responsible for the privacy or security practices of third-party websites or services.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The Services are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age at which parental consent is required in their jurisdiction. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us at the address below so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.

SECURITY

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no security system or method of transmitting information over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Do not send sensitive payment or confidential information through ordinary email or other unsecured communication channels.

RETENTION

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. Retention periods may depend on the nature of the information and whether it is needed to fulfill an order, provide support, maintain business and tax records, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or comply with legal obligations.

When personal information is no longer reasonably necessary, we may delete or de-identify it, subject to applicable law and the retention practices of Shopify and other service providers.

YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable law, you may have rights relating to your personal information, including the right to:

Request access to or a copy of personal information we maintain about you.

Request correction of inaccurate personal information.

Request deletion of personal information.

Request a portable copy of certain personal information.

Object to or request restriction of certain processing.

Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

Opt out of certain uses that applicable law defines as a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising.

Appeal a decision we make about a privacy request, where applicable.

You may submit a request by contacting us at support@placewell.app. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. You may also use an authorized agent where permitted by law, subject to verification of the agent's authority and your identity.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right. Privacy rights are not absolute, and we may deny or limit a request where permitted by law. You may also have the right to complain to your local privacy or data-protection authority.

GLOBAL PRIVACY CONTROL AND COMMUNICATION CHOICES

Where required by applicable law and supported by Shopify, a Global Privacy Control signal may be treated as a request to opt out of certain processing for the browser or device sending the signal. More information about Global Privacy Control is available at:

You may opt out of PlaceWell marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link included in those messages. We may still send transactional or service-related communications concerning an order or request.

INTERNATIONAL PROCESSING

Shopify and other service providers may transfer, store, or process personal information outside the country where you live. When required, applicable safeguards are used for international transfers, which may include adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, or other legally recognized transfer mechanisms.

CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to our Services, practices, technology, or legal obligations. When we update it, we will post the revised policy and change the "Last updated" date. We will provide additional notice when required by applicable law.
